Building Godly Homes - Part VI

Mark 3:25 "And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand."

This month we continue our message with the Duties & Responsibilities of the Wife & Mothers.

Let me first say that the society we're living in has the woman's role in life All wrong!  God's divine plan is for young ladies to marry in the will of God, bear children and guide the house, I Tim 5:14.  That is the High Calling of God for godly women to pursue, rejoice in and be content in.

Many Christian women toady are not content with God's will & purpose for their lives and thus give in to the 'siren' call of the world.  The World never gives peace and contentment, but dissatisfaction, division, and often disaster.

God's Plan is clearly outlined in the Scriptures; Eph. 5:22-24; 33 & I Peter 3:1-6 & Titus 2:1-5.  The reason for so many failures in Marriages and Homes today is the failure to follow God's Plan.  I Tim. 2:11-14 - There is a lot of "usurping" of God's authority going on - The Man is the head of the home as Christ is head of the church & wives should submit to and reverence their husbands as the church should be to Christ. (Eph. 5)  But, many 'Rebel' at the notion of Submission, thinking it's slavery or bondage or worse.  Wrong!  Wrong!  Wrong!

It is simply God's placing men and women in the position He ordained and will bless for His honor and Glory!  A godly woman, Prov. 31, realizes her power and potential in the home "helping" her husband and bringing up and training her children.  Billy Sunday said, "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the nation."  George Washington never hesitated to credit his godly mother's influence in his life.

Satan has been successful in America tearing apart our homes by getting Wives & Mothers out of the home and into the World's Workforce.  Then just turn the children over to the world, day care, public schools, and T.V. for indoctrination into our anti-God society.  Then we lose another generation.  Judges 2:10

Oh for God to give us a generation of young women who will consecrate themselves to the Holy Calling of God to be Keepers at Home and those who will give themselves to the nurture and admonition of their children.
